OPEN CALL (Apply by April 14, 2020)
Aspiring creatives interested in communication and storytelling are welcome to apply to this ten-month ESC project starting in September 2020 in Malmö, Sweden.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Interdisciplinary Storytelling is a dynamic program for young creatives looking to build their portfolio, gain a range of experiences and skills and develop their own ideas in a unique environment.
Every year, we invite three ESC eligible participants for a ten month journey to join our team and work on creative projects with a strong interdisciplinary approach. The program is dynamic and varied: from conceptualising and developing unexpected communication campaigns to building sets and creating events and much more. Selected participants will also have the opportunity to develop their own personal project through the course of the program.
ABOUT THE SPACE
STPLN is an interdisciplinary independent cultural institution. We facilitate a 2,000m2 former industrial shipyard building for projects that operate at the intersection of art, design, media and technology, education and innovation. As a creative hub, STPLN operates as a community builder in local society and aims to engage with questions of environmental and social sustainability. To get a better feel of the house, watch this.
We engage over 30,000 users a year. They come to build a prototype in the Makerspace, play with materials in the recreate and redesign lab, work from the coworking space, attend an event at the venue, develop photos in the darkroom and more. Each day is different and the range of knowledge and ideas is immense.
